My XBOX 360 died yesterday while I was playing Call Of Duty 4. It'll cost 100 buck (which I don't currently have) to have it sent off and fixed. So now it's going to be months before I'll get to blow people up on the internet again....and that makes me very sad. Very sad indeed. On another note, I've started re-watching season one of BSG. Which is only sort of balancing out watching the crash and burn of Season 4. Hopefully the Spin Off will be made of Win! Maybe I should try to finish all of the scenarios on both of my BSG video games, especially Beyond The Red Line, which is totally awesome. So say we all. I went to AEthelmarc to Blackstone Raids, and of the attending Rapier Combatants there.... That's right. I killed all of them. Without suffering a loss. March 26th, 2008December 29th, 2007: New Years Eve!!! So some of you may be familiar with this little shindig, some may not. However.... Every year I throw a New Years Eve Party. So your all invited, of course. That's right, every single one of you freaks should come to my house on New Years Eve! So I figure we're gonna open the doors around 6 (6:00PM).....you can come over when you like and stay as long as you please, if you don't mind sleeping on the couch/floor your welcome to that also. There will be food and snacks, and some non-alcoholic beverages for you folks that care to be sober for these sorts of things. As usual "Frozen Ice Dragons" will be served. Although we suspect that you will also want to BYOB, in fact we highly recommend it. I'm also going to recommend bringing any music or movies you might want us to consider playing, we'll have a look and let the committee decide. Also, we'd like to have a scotch tasting, the rules are simple, we'll bring some scotch to share, you should bring some scotch to share also. Oh yeah, the last detail. I Am A: True Neutral Human Sorcerer (6th Level) Ability Scores: Strength-12 Dexterity-16 Constitution-15 Intelligence-15 Wisdom-14 Charisma-14 Alignment: True Neutral A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction. Race: Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like. Class: Sorcerers are arcane spellcasters who manipulate magic energy with imagination and talent rather than studious discipline. Sorcerers know fewer spells than wizards do and acquire them more slowly, but they can cast individual spells more often and have no need to prepare their incantations ahead of time. Also unlike wizards, sorcerers cannot specialize in a school of magic. August 2nd, 2007: Long overdue update. Hello everyone. It's been a while since I posted anything that wasn't a quiz so I'll try to get everyone caught up. JOB: The old job is gone, which although it's kind of sad that the sweet money is gone. But all in all, it wasn't much fun anymore so I'm glad to be done with it for the interim. I wouldn't mind going back some day, but for right now I'm content right where I am. HOME: We're doing some city mandated painting. Yay us!!! I need some chimney repair also, which I don't know anything about so I don't know what I'm going to do about that. GAME: Attendance is low, but the quality of game is going up. So which is more important, quantity or quality? Quality of course, but I wouldn't mind having another 10 or 20 regular players. SCA: I've been doing my best to keep my last years promise to be more active. I'm leaving for Pennsic tomorrow, right after work. I'm so anxious I can barely sit still. I've got to duel with Christian for the "Prima Spada", I hope that goes well because well, I would love dearly to be the first one. There's the Champions Tourney as well. That will go however it goes, I'm not especially worried about it. Additionally, I've taken on two "Henchman", they both rock. It's only moderately sad I'm only going to be on-site for 4 days. Moderately sad because I'm leaving to fly to Vegas for the Star Trek Convention at the Star Trek Experience. I've never been to Vegas or a Con this big so I'm sure it'll be a hoot. Although I doubt I'll ever incur the expense of going out that way again, but who knows. All of the plans I had for Vegas are sadly not going to go as planned, with the job changes money is tight and well, I'll have to wait until I'm more prepared. TREK: While I've headed in this direction I'll talk about my new club project. I've started a small Starfleet Marines Unit with some friends. The 130th Marine Expeditionary Unit. We're hoping to have some fun and maybe lazertag, or paintball, I'm going to teach some ship seizure and room clearing tactics (which I know in R/L). Mostly I think we want to hang out and have fun, either way, it should be a hoot. If by chance your interested in joining our marry little band, contact me vis email and I'll get you hooked up with the details. Yeah so if you didn't know, I'm a Sci-Fi fan. The new BSG is my fav, but I never can get enough Trek, I'd watch it all day as long as BSG wasn't on. CAR: Had an unexpected repair (fuel pump = $750.00) that set me back a little bit. After I pay off those repairs, I've got some other plans for hooking it up a little bit. CYCLE: I think she blew a head gasket while I was riding her last night. I think I can fix it myself, but not until after Pennsic/Vegas. It's due for some top-end service anyway, I just wish it hadn't left me stuck out on the highway. Well, I guess that about covers it.
